1.4 beta crashes

I i nstalled the new beta today and when i click the game icon from desktop or select it through the Doom3 mod list the game crashes. It says couldnt load game dynamic library. What wrong? Pre beta 1.3 worked well. I deleted and installed it again but i also get the same error.

Here is the crash report. i also must tell you that 2 weeks ago the PC was infected by a powerful virus that deleted lot of programs and games that i had installed. Fortunately now the virus seems to be gone after i did lot of checks with almost all antivirus and antimalware. Doom3 was one of the games deleted . And today i installed it again so it is a clear install. Pc specs are Windows10PRO 64 bit core i5 2500k 3,3ghz 12 gb ram ddr 3 1600 mhz gtx 970 g1 gaming 4 gb LG 22MP55 1080P 60 HZ 21,5'' IPS LED

Heya i'm sorry to say I can't determain your specific problem right now.

I do see that you have Doom 3 1.3.1 patch installed

But I can confirm that if your Doom 3 copy is completely clean of any other mods and it's patched to 1.3.1
it will defiantly work fine,
Your virus you mentioned must have caused some sort of other problem :(

The virus had deleted many games and programs that aat it did. It even deleted graphics drivers!!! . But that Fortunately after that i immediatly installed all antivirus and antimalware. Now pc is fully protected. I. Maybe i need to isntal it on Doom3 dxp folder instead of Doom 3 folder? Or Doom 3 base folder?

No, Doom Reborn defiantly will not work if you try installing it to another location like that

As I said if your Doom 3 is completely clean and patched to 1.3.1 it will defiantly work.
The fact that it is not working now, even though its the same way you set it up before.
Is a indication of a much larger problem on your end.

So it must be in Doom 3 folder only? Not Doom 3/base or Doom 3/d3xp? Right?PC dont have any other problems. All other games work fine(those that has not been deleted from virus). So it must be the mod broken or something. Ok i will delete DOOM3 and re install it. Hope that fix the issue... I forgot to mention that after i deleted all the virus and spyeare malware e.t.c(there were more than 1,000 thousands inotal!!) then i reinstalled Windows using the repair tool of Windows 10 pro through the control panel. So evrything must be fine now. Also yesterday there was some Windows Updates which means that if there was still any issues left from the virus must have been fixed now.

Yeah it sounds like your windows installion should be clean now.

And also yeah thats the right place, install to example "C:\Program Files\Doom 3\"
And then the Doom Reborn folder should be located at "C:\Program Files\Doom 3\DoomReborn"

But as I said if it's Doom 3 is a clean installed and patched to 1.3.1 it should work and when I tested Doom 3 on windows 10 beta versions and final it never showed even the slightest bit of trouble so there shouldn't be any compatibility problems ether.

It is very odd that yours is having problems.

What I'd try if I was you is one more clean uninstall delete any remaining files after uninstalling it normanlly
then reinstall.
If it still doesn't work repeat the last uninstall and delete
and install again to another location (example D:\Program Files\Doom 3) ("C:\Doom 3")
this is to avoid what is known as registry issues

And if this still doesn't work.
Clean install windows 10 you don't have to format your drive ether to do this.
Simply launch the install of windows click clean install and select C:\ and click next.
It'll tell you that a windows installation is present and that all previous windows files will be moved to a folder in "C:\" called "windows.old" or "windows.000"

There a few programs, games mods e.t.c that still incopatible with Windows 10. Doom Reborn must be one of these it seems. Doom3 works perfectly but when i try to launch the mod by clicking the game icon on desktop or through the doom 3 mod list i always get this error. What strange is that i have Windows 10 since it release and the previous versions of the mod didnt have those issues. Guys that what happen when you make a new game on a 10 year old engine. Hardware limitations,incopatiblity e.t.c . And all that because you didnt want to use a new and modern engine !!

Still the same error
. Yes game is installed on C Program files DOOM3/Doom Reborn. Take a another look on the eror and see if you understand something

I'm running Windows 10 on my lappy, and the mod runs fine (aside from old graphics hardware).
Are you using the direct mod launcher instead of selecting mods from the regular game? I have had problems with that before. And make sure that the "Start In:" in the shortcut properties is your game folder.
